Traditional indoor and 3v3 indoor leagues are beneficial in a player’s development. There is a baseline of individual development that will naturally occur with the number of touches received throughout a game or season. However, recent studies have shown that traditional indoor soccer promotes erratic play and players actually receive less touches on the ball compared to Futsal.

In its nature, Futsal allows players to develop their technical skills through a smaller, heavier weighted soccer ball and smaller field. Due to the touchline boundaries players are placed in similar situations that are experienced during league play. As a result, futsal necessitates players to demonstrate the same quality of control that is required outdoor. The priority of the Pride Futsal League is to motivate players in an environment that is conducive to learning.

  • Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid stated, "The smaller court helped my footwork skills, the nature of the game made me feel so free when I played. If it wasn’t for futsal, I would definitely not be the player I am today."

  •  Lionel Messi, Barcelona stated, "In Argentina, when I was a young boy, I used to play a lot of futsal on the street and with Newell's Old Boys. It was a really fun game that's helped me a great deal."
